Congratulations to EAA Elected Artist Kay Brigante who won the Viewers Choice Award for CDHR’s “Save a Horse -Buy Art!” show held at EAA this week! This juried show and sale helps to benefit the rescue horses of the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue.

Congratulations to this year's award winners for CDHR's annual "Save a Horse - Buy Art!" juried art show and sale! A draft-sized thank you to our magnificent juror, Carol Dunn for her time, talent and care for our annual show.

Please join us Friday, October 20th from 6 to 8 pm for our opening reception at Essex Art Association gallery on 10 North Main Street, Essex, CT (the yellow building with the purple door!). All artwork is available for purchase with proceeds to benefit the rescue horses of CDHR.

Congratulations to the accepted artists for CDHR's "Save a Horse - Buy Art!" juried show and sale! The opening reception is this Friday, October 20th from 6 to 8 pm at the Essex Art Association Gallery, 10 North Main Street, Essex, CT. We will be hosting a reception for the River Valley Artists this Friday, October 6th from 5 to 7 pm. RVA consists of 43 artists who work in a number of mediums, many of which are EAA members! Congratulations to Mary Horrigan not only for being selected as the Solo Gantner Gallery Artist for the Late Summer Open Show, but for also selling two of her paintings and multiple handpainted cards during last night's opening reception! Mary's artistry is impeccable and a must-see in person. EAA is at 10 N Main Street and our gallery hours are 1 to 5 pm, Wednesdays through Sundays. This show runs until Saturday, September 16th.
