UPDATE 2:20 pm 6/24: NM 4 is closed at the main entrance of the Valles Caldera National Preserve due to fire activity. Access beyond the closure is restricted to emergency vehicles and authorized personnel. This closure is not located at the intersection of NM 4 and NM 502 (West Jemez Road) as previously reported. Motorists should avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
