GREAT day at the Queen before the downpour chased us out! Lots of families, kids and adults learning about Cyanotype magic. Thanks to City of Escondido and Nikolina Katanic and Sandra Aguilar for all their support. Thanks to assistants Jack and Anabel for making our free community event a success.

I’m very excited to be one of three jurors for American Photographic Artists annual juried exhibition “Untitled 2026 – A Photographic Exhibition”! Entries are due by October 13 and is open to both APA members and non-members.

“Untitled” is an annual competition and exhibition designed to showcase the best work of APA members and beyond – Images that show your unique vision, creative passion, and individualistic style, titled or untitled. This contest is open to all photographers at any level.

So you have a rare opportunity to learn from the best in a workshop with Barbara Beck and Brandy Sebastian THIS SUNDAY… and you can still sign up for our very affordable class. You may want to take a second day or only the first day. In this post you are seeing a wet Cyano by Barbara and a Cyano on cloth by her as well… then two of mine.
