We are looking for 2-3 people to assist with an offsite educational bug program in Carlsbad, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm March 17 to April 18. Interested? Thank you all for the outpouring of support in calls, emails, and donations. We still are still a short by a little over $10,000. But, we avoided closure. .
We are working to update our plan moving forward to safeguard the animals and Museum from financial hardship. Watch for updates on social media and our website. In the meantime, keep sharing the need to support ongoing care for Elvira, the endangered Rhinocerous Iguana and all the animals here at EcoVivarium.

Oops! All of our towels are growing giant holes!
If you have old towels in good condition, please consider donating them to us. The animals and staff would really appreciate it! Donations can be dropped off Wednesday thru Sunday between 10 am and 4 pm. Thanks in advance!

Spade is one of four Savannah Monitors we have at EcoVivarium, but they are definitely the cutest!! We got Spade through Animal Control, like many of our animal friends!

Savannah Monitors are called Bosc's Monitors in Europe, and primarily eat bugs, including millipedes and snails!

Winter the bearded dragon is a regular member of our reading team! Once a month, we go to the Escondido library and have children read to our Beardie friends!

Winter is a young beardie who is currently dealing with issues related to eggs, and like our many rescues, she needs medical care! If you want to help Beardies like Winter then please donate on our website, or through the linktree in our insta bio!!

Lo**ta the Cuban Rock Iguana is ready for lunch every day! Lo**ta has been with us for about 5 1/2 years now.

When we got her, she had the most parasites our team had ever seen on a slide! Now, many years later, she is happy, healthy, and has her own corner room!

Help Lo**ta and our many animal friends like her by donating, visiting, and sharing!!

This Giving Tuesday, we are asking for help for our many rescue animals!

Our newest friend is Elvira the Rock Iguana!
Elvira suffers from metabolic bone disease, and she has multiple fractures that did not have treatment before coming to us.

The start of her Vet bills are over 1000 dollars, and she is going to need much more help.

She's going to need long-term care, both for her fractures and MBD, and she's just one of our many animal friends.
