What a turnout! Thank you to everyone who stopped by for our Opening Reception this past Friday! This exhibit features incredibly strong work in many types of media, all from Wisconsin artists. The exhibit will run until July 5th, so stop by if you’re in town!
Join us for a Juror Talk with Rebecca Carlton on June 12th, 2-3pm. Awards will be announced during the Juror Talk, including People’s Choice, so get your votes in before then!

We are excited to present the 64th Annual Wall-To-Wall Juried Exhibit, kicking off our 2026 exhibition season at the Hardy Gallery. Ernest Beutel is a Sturgeon Bay based artist focused in Abstract Representationalism. With a through-line of animals in his work, he plays with abstraction to draw upon concepts beyond an animal portrait, with a strong use of shape and bright colors.
Ernest and his wife Samantha are also the owners of Artists Guild as of 2024, and are dedicated to continuing the legacy of Artists Guild and the Door County art community that comes with it. Artists Guild has generously donated the canvases for the Hardy's Community Mosaic Project since 2008. They donated over 300 canvases for our 2026 season, which makes this project possible, and for that they deserve a huge thank you!
