Wings Over the Rockies Teacher Flight Program

Wings Over the Rockies Teacher Flight Program The Teacher Flight Program aspires to provide a FREE personal flight experience to teachers from every school in Colorado..

As one of the most significant educational outreach initiatives ever undertaken, the Wings Over the Rockies Teacher Flight Program aspires to provide a personal flight experience to one teacher in every school along Colorado’s front range by the year 2020.

It all begins with a free, 20-minute teacher flight, most likely in our vintage
Stearman biplane. Colorado STEM teachers are invited, not only to
enjoy the flight itself, but also to become envoys for our Museum —
introducing students to wide-ranging educational opportunities that could
inspire next-generation aerospace leaders.

Our Story

It all begins with a free, 20-minute flight, most likely in our vintage 1930s Stearman biplane. Colorado K-12 educators are invited, not only to enjoy the flight itself, but also to become envoys for our Museum — introducing students to wide-ranging educational opportunities that could inspire next-generation aerospace leaders.
