🎨 Meet Deborah Slahta – one of the featured artists at our upcoming Brunch with the Artists on September 6.
Deborah is a ceramic artist from Hellertown, Pennsylvania, whose raku and stoneware pieces transform vessels into three-dimensional canvases. A lifelong Lehigh Valley resident, she discovered her passion for ceramics while earning a B.S. in Mathematics from Moravian College. She taught ceramics at the Banana Factory from 1999 to 2024 as a juried resident artist and now creates at JuxtaHub in Emmaus. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and juried exhibitions throughout the Lehigh Valley and across the country.
