Holy cow! 6 yrs later, finally doin some glaze tests for pieces ive been throwin out of that red clay i reclaimed from a house excavation..throws like porcelain.. Firing kiln in one wk. Goin to fire cone05. Found out it goes to cone10 ! But it bubbles and warps. Does awesome as a slip....no bubbles our anything. Comes out dark burgundy with silver flash. Oxides add great color changes to my existing glazes.
