"The NYS CHARM (Cultivating Havens for the Arts through Regional Murals) program is a statewide public art initiative led by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) that transforms underutilized public spaces into vibrant cultural anchors. Funded by a $1 million state budget allocation, the inaugural round featured 57 murals across 21 counties created by regional artists and community collaborations."
