FYI....... The Pierre Menard Home will be open this week on July 25, 26, from 9 to 4, and Sunday July 28 from 9:00 to 2:00.

Yesterday at the Pierre Menard Home Basket Weaving class we made the Cherokee Wheel!!! Love Love this Basket!!! Here are some pics!!!!!

Last night at The Phantom Funeral Prairie du Rocher. I only got a few pictures so if anyone else has any please send them to me. I would like to add them to this post. I didn't get any others during the day. I think my brain was too hot, LOL! Anyway, enjoy the few I have!!!

UPDATE to this weekends hours:
Today we are open 9-4 but Sunday is 1:30 to 5 as I have a pre schedule basket weaving class from 9 to 1. We are closed on Saturday.

This week the Pierre Menard Home will be open TODAY 4 July 9:30 to 4:30, tomorrow 5 July and Sunday July 7th. from 9-4. Hope to see some visitors!! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL!!!

This evening, June 13, 2024 at Pierre Menard's 180th Celebration of Life......
I wish more people had come, but I very much enjoyed my time with Pierre Menard's three times Great-grandson, Allen Menard and his friend!!! I brought a single Rose to put on his grave. The significance behind it is, one time Pierre had gone to New Orleans and picked up a rose bush for his daughter Bernice and it had been planted in the garden. It is no longer there but that is why we have planted roses in the garden and why I put a single rose on his grave! 🌹

FYI, The Pierre Menard Home will be open Thursday, Friday and Sunday this week, June 13, 14 & 16. Hope to see some of you! Also I just did a post about Pierre's Celebration of Life at his place of rest up at Fort Kaskaskia if anyone wants to join us, see prior post.
