The Georgia Apple Festival Parade is just around the corner! This year the parade will be on Friday, October 8th at 6 P.M. in downtown Ellijay! For all other Apple Festival events check https://www.georgiaapplefestival.org/other-events.aspx.

Great way to spend the day in the mountains!!

Join us at Brasstown Bald on September 18, 2021, 10A - 4P as part of Appalachian Trail Day!

1. We will have two "lanes" set up with a mock life size Bears to help you judge distance in the woods and in the open area.
2. We will also have a Bear Spray demonstration every 30 minutes beginning at 10:30 AM.
3. We will answer your questions on how to react when seeing a Bear.

We hope everyone is making plans to come on up to Hillcrest this weekend as we kick off our annual Apple Pickin’ Jubilee! Saturday and Sunday we have swimming pig races, cow train rides, apple tree maze, mini golf, pedal cart and big kid trike tracks, playgrounds with giant slides, wagon rides, jumping pillows, live entertainment on stage, the ball zone, apple and moonshine museums, and duck races all included with admission. Pick your own apples begins this weekend as well! We hope to see you all as we celebrate 75 years of growing fruit and family fun. ❤️
