A few weeks ago, Elk Landing hosted the Maryland Historic Trust to explore the grounds in search of battlefield evidence to add to their catalog of information about our site. While we wait for the final report, we did find obvious evidence of pre-colonial occupation. Just a reminder Elk Landing does not allow ANY disturbance of the ground without permission from the MHT. For a full listing of policies, please visit our website at https://www.elklanding.org. Visit us this Saturday for tales of the Elk Landing (haunted story edition)- tours starting every half-hour starting at 4:30pm. Last tour at 6:30pm. Tours are free, donations and memberships accepted. Our Little Gift Shoppe will be open (cash/check please).
