I'm 56 years old and I have only voted for president twice in my lifetime. I always felt like I didn't know enough about politics to bother. I took the stance that if I didn't vote, I shouldn't and couldn't complain about political issues. I never cared what they were doing in Washington, or thought about how that affected me, my children, or my grandchildren. I never got passionate about my patriotism. I love my country, I love my freedoms, and my constitutional rights.
I have changed my way of thinking about all these things in the past few years. I have discovered that my heart and mind are the heart and mind of a patriot. I really care about America. I am proud to be American. I have a deep seeded love of this country. I don't have to spew venom and preach sweet words about what I believe is the right choice. It is my duty to follow my heart and free thinking mind, and stand up for what I believe in, make my voice heard, and VOTE for what I am passionate about. I don't have to choose blue or red, to have an America that I love. An America of my dreams is defined by me.
All politicians bend the truth, they build themselves up, they sell you on their ideas, they will promise one thing and do the opposite. They have to get you to agree with their policies to get you to hire them. Just keep it real guys, do your own research, find out the truth beyond the smoke and mirrors, then get out and use your voice to VOTE for what is meaningful to you. Your VOTE matters only if you VOTE.

We just finished this job for Billy's Crawfish... There was taping and spraying and hand painting the pictures and words. It was very intense and took many hours. The client was thrilled! Dale will be doing more for this client.

I spent so many hours on this box, it looks cool now. I used pyrography, paint, tape, there are tiny painted wooden flowers glued inside. There are wire strips for the stems that are glued on the outside. I covered it in two part epoxy thick enough to cover the flowers inside. I really like the finished box, even though it's not perfect. Dale says imperfections are what makes it art. Perfect is impersonal and mass produced. He might be right but don't tell him I said that! Lol
