Midwest Museum of American Art Celebrating 47 years of art and culture in 2026! The museum's 25,000-square-foot space houses a collection focusing on 19th and 20th century American art.

The Midwest Museum of American Art is a non-profit public art museum located in downtown Elkhart, Indiana, United States. Its collection includes selections of Abstract expressionism, American Impressionism, the Chicago Imagists, Overbeck art pottery, Pop art, Regionalism, the Ashcan School, and Western art (art from the American West). Artworks in the collection include works by Norman Rockwell, Hans Hofmann, Edward Moran, Roger Brown, Grant Wood, Arthur Bowen Davies, Ralph Albert Blakelock and many others. Each fall the museum hosts the Elkhart Juried Regional competition. The museum provides docent led student tours, publishes a quarterly newsletter for members and published its first Catalogue of the Permanent Collection in 2004.

My pastel, "Fronds of Palms", was accepted into the Midwest Museum of American Art 48th Annual Elkhart Juried Regional Exhibition. The show runs until December 31. This all-media juried competition features artists from a 24-county area.

Join us for a special Noontime Talk this Thursday at 12:15 PM with curator, Randy Roberts and assistant curator, Chris Hall, as they share some of the highlights from this year's Elkhart Juried Regional. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the incredible talent of the Michiana Region!

Free to MMAA Members. Regular Admission Fees apply for Non-Members. The program begins at 12:15. No admittance after the program begins until its conclusion at 1:15 pm.
