Historic Fort Reno provides a beautiful history museum with a gift shop in the remodeled 1936 Veterinarian’s Quarters on the former U.S. Army Cavalry history, Equine history, Oklahoma history, American and World History with a date span of 1867-1952; essentially Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive through World War II and the decommissioning of Fort Reno. Museum admission rates are $4 for kids, $6 for adu

lts, and $5 for seniors and military. Enjoy the parade grounds and other historic buildings that remain on one of Oklahoma’s most historic landmarks on the National Registry of Historic Places. Monthly events occur March through December. Weddings can also be booked all year in the 1944 Chapel that was built by the German POW's during World War II.
