The Art Avenue Gallery, nestled in a burgeoning arts hamlet downtown, showcases contemporary artists and designers from around the Borderplex. Opened in 2015, the monthly exhibits focus on emerging and subversive arts in the area, showcasing up-and-coming, mid-career and established artists working in a vast array of mediums. The gallery also sells a variety of local work, such as prints, t-shirts

, sculptures and jewelry, always with a focus on proving insight into the diverse cultural landscape that is the Borderland. Surrounded by local artists’ studios, The Art Avenue Gallery serves as a gathering place for neighborhood creatives and makers, hosting coordinated artist workshops to effectively break down the wall between the public and local artists.
