For the past several years, starting in 2022, we’ve come together to create El Morro’s very own community altar—ofrenda—where we honor our dearly departed. This has become an annual event, a special time for all of u

s to gather in remembrance, celebration, and unity. We invite you to be a part of this heartfelt tradition, whether by bringing a photo, a memento, or simply sharing stories of your loved ones. Your presence will make this celebration even more meaningful as we collectively celebrate the beauty of life and the spirits who continue to live in our hearts.

A smaller altar was left at El Morro Area Arts Council - The Old School Gallery for people to have a little taste of the big communal ofrenda that was placed last night.
All the pictures and mementos left on the big ofrenda are there. If you left some, you can come pick them up whenever you want.
