Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a beautiful tradition that celebrates the lives of those who have passed, turning remembrance into a joyous occasion of life, love, and connection. For the past several years, starting in 2022, we’ve come together to create El Morro’s very own community altar—ofrenda—where we honor our dearly departed. This has become an annual event, a special time for all of us to gather in remembrance, celebration, and unity. We invite you to be a part of this heartfelt tradition, whether by bringing a photo, a memento, or simply sharing stories of your loved ones. Your presence will make this celebration even more meaningful as we collectively celebrate the beauty of life and the spirits who continue to live in our hearts.
