Here are some pictures of the Pond Lilly house, also known as the railroad house as it was a hotel used by railroad men. This building most of us remember as Higgins store. The first picture is of the backside from South Street looking north. The second picture shows the building from South Street looking south near the creek. I also included a photo of the cash drawer from the hotel on display at the Edmeston Museum.

3 pictures looking up North Street in Edmeston at different times. First you can see the building on the left that was moved to South Street and became the print shop and apartments and eventually the post office. Second shows that there’s no building there at all after it was moved. Lastly, the brick building that was the bank and NYCM and currently the town hall and museum!
