Classes at Decadent Gifts and Gallery


Our instructors are local established artists working in many mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, mixed media, and more. Participants do not ‘copy,’ but instead, use an experimental approach as they incorporate new techniques to create works of art. Decadent Gifts and Gallery will be offering a variety of Art Classes and Art Talks in our After-Hours Series

. Classes and Art Talks usually meet on Tuesday or Thursday evenings or Saturday afternoons and are held at Decadent Gifts and Gallery. Larger events hosted by Decadent Gifts and Gallery may be offered at a different location, such as the BrewProjekt. See our Events tab for ticket information with available classes, dates, times, and locations. With small class sizes, events sell out quickly, so check the website often for new offerings.

With only FIVE days left in the month, time is slipping away for you to claim your favorite from Michael Mathew's 'Ascension' collection. This smiling collector left with her treasure 'Fragment 07' safely in hand, so sorry to say, there is one less for you to choose from. The color palette and rich textures made it a perfect fit for their home. It just feels 'right' when you know you've found the perfect work of art to proudly display in your home. The happy pride of owning an original is added to the satisfaction of knowing your purchase helps support our local artists!

The earthtone colors found in this selection from the Michael Mathews 'Fragments' series compliments any home decor. "Fragments 07 Abundance" measures 16" x 40" and its slim vertical shape just might fit that 'empty' space you haven't known what to do with. This close up detail image is only a portion of the complete work. Rich in textural details, it brings the eye close to see all the intricate collage elements. The subtle inclusions of various surfaces and print elements give a harmonious feel to this artwork. This exhibit will only be available until the end of August, so your fragment of time to acquire an original is quickly running out.
