Local businessmen & women formed a board to promote the Arts, Tourism & Heritage of the area, the Eatonton Putnam Tourism Arts Heritage Corp, or EPTAH. this group asked others to form committees to generate ideas to promote the area. out of those committees, the Briar Patch Arts Council was formed, which in turn created the Georgia Writers Museum

The next in-person meeting of Flannery O' Connor Book Club will be THIS Thursday, August 27th at 2:00 pm here at Georgia Writers Museum! This discussion, led by Dr. Bruce Gentry, will center around Flannery O' Connor's story, "Greenleaf."

An additional meting will be held at 7pm via Zoom.
