Located in the seaside town of Eastport, Maine, Mr. LaVallee carries on the Maine tradition of quality craftsmanship. CROW TRACKS has offered art lovers a wide variety of handmade woodcarvings available at affordable prices since 1984. I carve items to order on request. Also I do have a wide selection of items to pick from in my gallery. My regular business hours are from April 1st to January 1st.

A Pine Siskin now on my shelf to replace one that has just sold. A backyard birdfeeder bird that most people do not recognize. Well, we have them and are well distributed across the USA. Just a little treat for those folks who are aware.

A nice little Palm Warbler that I just carved. A nice addition to the shelf of any person with a warbler mind set. Believe me they are out there. Yup some folks just dream about warblers. Wait a minute that just might be me!

One of my favorite sparrows. The American Tree Sparrow. Living in Eastport now I hardly see any in this terrain. When I lived in the wooded country, they were common at our bird feeder. This carving is for sale here at CROW TRACKS for any other folks who love this bird.

Shakespeare's bird the European Starling. A wonderful singer, extraordinary in group flight performances and was introduced to Central Park. Now it is just about everywhere in the USA.
I love them, although that might cause some turmoil in the minds of many.

Oh, that summer feels so good. Visitors are coming to CROW TRACKS, the weather is nice, and I even have a batch of Mackerel in the smoker. The making of winter dreams.

A nice little plumper is on display at CROW TRACKS. These Chickadee carvings are popular with not only local folks but the tourists too. A nice bird carving of the State Bird of Maine.

After the Fourth of July things are getting back to normal here on the downeast waterfront. One still has to be aware of those wharf rats who just might appear after dark.

Well I am not carving birds all the time. Sometimes I just feel a bit lucky like last week when I found this four-leaf clover. I hope all you feel lucky over this 250 year holiday of the Fourth of July. Be safe and have fun and hope for good times for the American people until our 300 year celebration comes.
