I’m truly grateful to have been entrusted with the care and preservation of the 1910 Lehigh Valley Railroad map for the Easton Area Public Library.
A heartfelt thank you to the Friends of Easton Area Public Library for making this preservation work possible, and to the Library for continuing to value and protect our shared local history. It’s always an honor to play a small part in keeping these pieces safe for future generations.

Thank you to the Friends of Easton Area PA Public Library for generously funding the reframing of the 1910 Lehigh Valley Railroad map, now on display in the Marx Room.

Colleen Schutzer of The Blue Easel carefully repaired the bottom portion of the map before securing it in archival matting. She also selected a distinctive frame that highlights the map’s details while ensuring its long-term preservation through the use of appropriate archival materials.

We extend our sincere thanks to Colleen for her continued dedication to caring for the Library’s historical collection.

The map is currently on display in the Marx Room and may be viewed whenever the room is open.
