📚 All Aboard for Stories!

We are excited to introduce our brand-new kids’ reading station — a cozy nook where little conductors can snuggle up with a good book before or after their trolley ride.

From trolley-themed tales to colorful picture books, there’s something for every young reader to enjoy. It’s the perfect stop for curious minds and big imaginations!

Hop off the tracks for a few minutes, turn the pages, and let the adventure continue!

A special thanks to our new summer educator, Lisa, for turning this idea into reality.

Fun Friday – Join us for a LEGO Workshop! Build your very own trolley ornament to take home, enjoy a guided tour, and hop aboard for a trolley ride. Registration at www.ct-trolley.org

Saturday- Super Hero & Princess Day 11AM–3PM. Dress as your favorite hero or princess and enjoy surprise visits from real-life characters, perfect for photos and high-fives. Create your own mask or crown at our craft station and let Dazzle Day Face Painters give you a magical design. Then, take a trolley ride with period-dressed motormen and learn about our history. Explore the Visitor Center, browse the gift shop, and visit the Connecticut Fire Truck Museum—all included with admission. Tickets available at www.ct-trolley.org

Calling all young LEGO enthusiasts! The Connecticut Trolley Museum is hosting a hands-on LEGO Workshop on Friday, August 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and it’s the perfect summer activity for kids ages 8–12.
Each participant will:
🧱 Build their very own trolley model using a custom LEGO kit (designed just for CTM!)
🚋 Take a real trolley ride
🍪 Enjoy a fun snack break
🏛️ Explore history with a guided tour of the museum
The cost is $25 per child ($20 for Museum Members) and includes full museum admission for the day.
