The ECHS Museum is open today, Saturday, May 30th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We’re pleased to welcome visitors throughout the day. Karen Wold will be at the front desk from 10 a.m. to noon, and Chris Sanford and Dave Michelsen will be there from noon to 2 p.m.
The windows have been refreshed, the flower planters are full, and the museum is ready for summer. Congratulations to Earlville’s Ambulance and EMT Service as they celebrate 50 years of service to the community.
There is much to look forward to as well, with next week’s Lion’s Fest, Alumni events, and the Hall of Honor Induction. Save the date
Stop in today and let Karen, Dave, and Chris show you the displays and help you take a step back into Earlville’s past. They will be happy to assist if you’re looking for information about Earlville’s people, businesses, or homes.

Our Spring newsletter will be sent out to our members later this week. If you are a member and have not been receiving our newsletters (published in May, Aug, and Nov) please let us know. If you’ve provided an email address they will be sent there (check your spam folder if you aren’t getting them). If you don’t have email (or have made a special request) you should receive them in your regular mail through the post office. Keep us informed of any address or email change so you don’t miss an issue!!

It’s less than 2 weeks until Alumni 2026! Today we’ll start posting the classes that will be celebrated this year. First up - the EHS Class of 1946. We know that Delores (Gast) Kaminky just celebrated her 98th birthday and is living in Sycamore. Anyone else from this class?

The Earlville Community Historical Society Museum will not be open today, Sunday May 24th to allow the volunteers to be with their families for the Memorial Day Weekend.

The ECHS Museum will be open for extended hours today, Saturday, May 23rd due to the EBA annual Earlville Cruise Night. At the front desk Dave Michelsen and Barb Borton will greet visitors from 10am until noon and Tom Myers and Chris Sanford will serve from noon until 2pm. From 2pm until 5pm, Anna Svendsen and Kris Goodbred joined by Karen Wold, Carol Landers and Jack Landers until 7:30
Earlville Cruise Night is always a fun event, with unique cars and trucks lining the streets and great music throughout town. Local businesses will be open, along with attractions such as the Presbyterian food stand, food trucks, and vendors in the park.
Be sure to stop by the museum to explore the exhibits and learn about Earlville’s history.
