Crittenden County Museum Preserving Our Past
Inspiring Our Future A few individuals visualized something great to be preserved for future generations.

For years the old Missouri Pacific Railroad Depot sat in silence with doors ajar, ceilings collapsed and floors cluttered with debris. Soon, the depot was designated as the home of the Crittenden County Museum and through further efforts it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, then purchased from a Texas oil company for $1. Renovations began in spring 1987 and a decommissioned M

issouri Pacific Railroad caboose was moved to Earle. By October the museum was ready for its grand opening. Since 2014 the museum is operated by Crittenden County, AR and governed by a Board of Museum Directors.

Today is the Day!!!

๐Ÿ” FREE, FREE, FREE! ๐ŸŒญ

Come on out and spend some time with me this Saturday!

The forecast is calling for cloudy skies, a few showers, and possibly a thunderstorm. While we may not be able to enjoy our usual outdoor fun, that doesn't mean the fun has to stop!

We'll move the excitement indoors with activities, learning opportunities, and plenty of time to connect. There's always something fun to do, rain or shine!

Don't let the weather keep you away. I will still be here, and I'd love to see you!

On March 20, 2026, the son of Isadore Banks visited the museum and shared his familyโ€™s story with us.

Memories were shared, tears were shed, and history came alive once again. His story continues to be preserved and passed forward.

Not all history is sunshine and roses. Some chapters are painful, difficult, and uncomfortable to revisit. Yet it is through facing these hard truths that we gain a deeper understanding of where we have been and where we must go.

While acknowledging the past does not make it easier, it reminds us of the importance of continuing to press toward a higher calling. One of truth, justice, healing, and understanding.

History matters because every story matters.

๐Ÿ† Crittenden County Pride! ๐Ÿ†

Congratulations to the Earle Lady Bulldogs & Bulldogs

STATE CHAMPIONS! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ€

To be honored on the Arkansas Senate Floor for their hard work and excellence.

Huge honor for our program! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ†
We are being recognized by the state as the only team in Arkansas where BOTH our girls and boys brought home a championship! Thatโ€™s a blessing and a testament to the hard work, discipline, and pride of our student-athletes.

A special shoutout to Senator Murdock for the invite. Weโ€™ll be in attendance this Tuesday at 1:00 PM representing Earle the right way โ€” with class, pride, and Bulldog energy.

Earle is on the map. Letโ€™s keep making history! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ”ฅ
