WE HAVE SOME GROUND BREAKING NEWS TO SHARE!

On June 5th at 2:00pm we will be having our Ground Breaking Ceremony for our New Heritage Center at our Main Museum on Hwy 45 S! The moment has finally come in our Capital Campaign where we can now start to build an addition on our Museum that will serve the Eagle River Area for Generations. The new Center will include and allow us to...

- Be open all year to host programs, classes, and events
- Winterizing the existing exhibition gallery
- Research Library with Computers, Scanners, Light Table, and projectors.
- 70+ Person Conference Room
- Donor Wall & Welcoming Lobby
- Proper Temperature controls to protect our Collection of Artifacts
- More space to store local treasures that tell out history!

We want to say THANK YOU to our local community for making this dream possible through your support, generosity, and foresight to saving our local heritage and history!

In the past few years we have been quickly growing into the largest historical authority in the area! But, we are only $38,000 away from our funding goal for the addition to our Main Museum, so any support from the community to help us reach this milestone!

This is your moment to make a huge impact on preserving Eagle River History! DONATE TODAY!

Thank you to all of our Proud Men and Women who have protected our country since it's founding and often having paid the ultimate price. Without their hard work and conviction, we would not have the country we do today.

The Eagle River Historical Society wants to specifically thank the generations of locals who have lived, worked, and been a part of the Eagle River community who have lost brothers, sons, and fathers. Thank you for your sacrifice as well. We in Eagle River have a long tradition of standing in the gap when the time calls for it.

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend this year, but do not forget why we have it in the first place!
