Yesterday at the Tolt Historical Society All Class reunion, we meet Mary the grandaughter of Walter Taylor. Walter was the Taylor that donated the land for Taylor Park on Park Street. Walter is the gentleman on the left of the vintage picture. The vintage picture was taken on West Snoqualmie River Road Duvall.

Come to Tolt McDonald Park for the Tolt High all class reunion. Help us in our booth for a few hours and then stay and enjoy the day.

The Duvall Historical Society is in need of volunteers on Augest 2nd from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

The Roots of Duvall walking tour had only 3 people join us today, but what a wonderful time we had. Two long time residents who brought their curiosity. I am very pleased to say the left happy with a little more knowledge about our fine town. Also joining us was the great granddaughter of AP Manion. She helped fill in some gaps in our stories. Brother Mac (Andrew Jackson MacNamee) was there to share stories of his circuit preaching and the big hand he had in building Duvalls (known as Cherry Valley back then) first church.
