The mission of the Turner Station History Center is:

-to collect, preserve, and share the history
of the Turner Station community.

-to act as a hub for exhibitions that
represent the people, families, and rich
heritage of the Turner Station community.

-to be a source of information, inspiration,
and stimulation for residents and people
everywhere, and

-to ensure the Turner Station legacy lives on!

Many people don't know this Baltimore Legend lived in Turner Station for a short time as a young boy with his family, in the Turner Homes housing complex. He became an NBA player & a Harlem Globetrotter. Affectionately known as Joe-Joe, he was loved by many and will be sorely missed. Rest Easy Sir... Well done! 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
