The program runs from January to April 2026 and provides reading and learning opportunitities for all ages.

Participating libraries include C-SPL, DCLD, JKPL, Cascade Public Library, Divine Word College Library, University if Dubuque Library, Clarke College Library, Loras College Library, and Wartburg Seminary Library.

Dubuque County Reads is a collaborative, county-wide reading initiative that brings people of all ages together through shared stories and meaningful dialogue. Each year, we select a thought-provoking book that explores timely themes and sparks conversation on issues that shape our lives and communities. Through engaging book discussions, dynamic speakers, and collaborative events, we create spaces for lifelong learning civic engagement, and connection.

DCR is a Dubuque Area Library Consortium (DALINC) program. All library institutions in the tri-state region are eligible to join DALINC.
