EDUCATION THROUGH ART
The goal of the Winkler Gallery and Art Education Center is to stimulate the arts in the City of DuBois, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. The purpose of the gallery is to foster the growth of the visual arts by acting as a presenter of quality artists from around the region and act as a catalyst for arts education. The cooperative encourages community involv

ement in the arts and serves as a local resource for arts information. Currently open by appointment only.

Nature’s beauty is captured in this painting by artist Paul Seymour. He will be in residence at the Winkler Gallery & Art Education Center September 3 and 4 from 12-6 pm. Come in and browse to see his other artwork as well as the beautiful work of many other artists.

Artist Grace Bergin creates beautiful one-of-a-kind artwork. Come to the Winkler Gallery & Art Education Center to see her creations. Grace will be in residence August 19 from 12-6 pm, and she can personally walk you through her display. The Gallery is open Wednesday-Friday from 12-6 pm every week.

Photographer Ed Wolfe has a beautiful eye for what can be captured by the lens. Work like this can be seen in person at the Winkler Gallery & Art Education Center Wednesday-Saturday from 12-6 pm. Ed will be in residence on August 15 from 12-6 pm. Come meet the creator!

Artist Samuel Graham will be in residence at the Winkler Gallery & Art Education Center Friday, July 24 from 12-6 pm. Visit during those hours to meet him and discuss his artwork. The Gallery is open every Wednesday-Saturday from 12-6 pm to view many beautiful works of art.

Artist Steve Hindman is inspired by Ancient Celtic design and fascinated by its complexity and elasticity. He set out to execute this artwork with the idea of stretched basic Celtic knots over the surface of a sphere. The three dimensional ball shape creates interesting foreshortening of form.

Steve will be in residence at the Winkler Gallery & Art Education Center on July 8 from 12-6 pm.

The Winkler Gallery is open Wednesday-Saturday 12-6 pm. Come in and explore.
