Driggs Plein Air - The Annual Festival of Plein Air Artists in Teton Valley, Idaho, on the Western Slope of the Tetons in late July. We can't wait to see you!

Driggs Digs Plein Air is a multi-day event in late July, in Driggs, Idaho. Artists from all over the country are invited to participate in the Plein Air competition, Paint Outs, Workshops, Demonstrations, Quick Draws, and Exhibition and Sale. Art Lovers and collectors are welcome to watch the painters at work and browse the exhibit at the City Gallery and at the Quick Draws. The fabulous views, climate, and friendly people of Teton Valley, Idaho make for a perfect venue.

Kick off the 15th Annual Driggs Plein Air Festival with an evening of free live music, art, and community!

Join us this Sunday, July 26, from 6–8 pm on Driggs Plaza for a free Downtown Sounds concert featuring the Aaron Ashton Band and browse and purchase hundreds of fresh paintings created outdoors in Teton Valley by 70 renowned artists from across the country.

The critically-acclaimed Aaron Ashton Band will perform their very own fresh, unique style of Gypsy jazz, Irish, folk, Celtic, Romanian, swing, and bluegrass music. This extraordinary band always brings down the house.

Mingle with the artists, enjoy Dragon Bowls food truck, beer on tap by Citizen 33 Brewery and wine by Two Mountain Winery.
Celebrate the beginning of Driggs Plein Air community events and take home a piece of Teton Valley to treasure. Don't forget your lawn chair!

Take the scenic route to inspiration on Monday, July 27th from 9-12am during the Driggs Plein Air Festival's Grand Targhee Resort Paint Out!

70+ nationally acclaimed festival artists will capture sweeping Teton views from the top of Dreamcatcher Lift. Watch them paint in real time and see the Tetons come to life on canvas, then find many of those fresh paintings for sale later that day at the Driggs City Center Gallery (60 South Main Street, Driggs).

Make a day of it! Take the Dreamcatcher lift up to watch the Paint Out then hike back or take the lift down to the base for a delicious lunch at one of "The Ghee's" great restaurants. Or ride on their 70+ miles of stellar single-track with your mountain bike!

The 15th Annual Driggs Plein Air Festival (July 26-August 1) is almost here! Over the next couple weeks, we'll be highlighting some of the festival's signature events, like the Collector's Night & Artist Talk on Thursday, July 30, from 5–6:30 pm at the Driggs City Gallery (60 South Main Street).

Whether you're a seasoned collector, a first-time buyer, or simply love great art, this is a festival evening that you won't want to miss! Be among the first to view and purchase all works designated for competition while meeting the talented artists who created them.

At 6pm, nationally recognized master plein air painter and festival judge John Lintott will present "The Influence of Plein Air Painting on Western Art.”

Light refreshments will be served, admission is free, and everyone is welcome. No RSVP required. We hope you'll join us for an inspiring evening celebrating art, artists, and the beauty of Teton Valley.

Save the Dates! The 15th Annual Driggs Plein Air Festival, July 22–August 1, is almost here. Join us for one of Teton Valley's most beloved arts events as 70 nationally recognized artists spread out across the region to paint outdoors and capture the mountains, forests, fields, farmlands, waterways and incredible character of our valley.

Over ten inspiring days, visitors can watch artists at work outdoors, attend free special events, and experience the beauty of Teton Valley through artists' eyes and fresh paint.
The public is invited to browse and purchase hundreds of artworks for sale (created daily) at the Driggs City Gallery, 60 South Main Street.

Join Kathryn as she teaches how to master the use of color value in a 2-day long workshop - July 23 & 24 entitled, "It's all about your values".

Known for her vibrant color, strong compositions, and expressive brushwork, Kathryn is influenced by artists such as Edgar Payne and the Taos painters. She is dedicated to painting landscapes from direct observation. Kathryn is a Master Artist with the Plein Air Convention and a two-time People’s Choice winner at Maynard Dixon Country and teaches plein air workshops across the United States and internationally.
