Aki Saito was born September 2nd 1917 and passed away in 1987.
She was nominated Dillon's "Outstanding Woman" in 1985.

She started photography in 1937 and continued her passion untill her passing in 1987, and she was the co-owner of Dillon potriat studio where her peronal favourites were wedding and family photography.

She contributed her time, money, and effort to many schools, organizations, churches, and charity's.

She was cited as "daily setting examples in honesty, integrity, and dependability. Beyond her status as a valued member of the business community, she was a treasured friend to thousands of Beaverhead residents. Young and old."

Aki Saito was an important member of beaverhead county. Her and the Saito family were one of the first Japanese families in Beaverhead county. She shows us what we can do as citizens to contribute to our communities. Her camera, chair, and story is here at Beaverhead County Museum.
