Derby Historical Museum

Derby Historical Museum The Derby Historical Museum is open April - October on Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm. It has sixteen rooms of artifacts and displays, plus exhibits in the hallways.

The Derby Historical Museum and Society is dedicated to the historical preservation of Derby, Kansas, and the surrounding area. The nonprofit was founded in 1995 while the building was built in 1923-1924.

If you've ever been to a murder mystery night at the Derby Public Library, you will love this — it's a similar process, with librarian Alyssa leading the adventure, but with a semi-fictionalized version of a story from local history.
