This Friday come experience Free Style Flow Art Show at 40 West Arts District and 1st Friday Art Crawl!!!

Free Style Flow is a vibrant celebration of hip-hop culture, history, and artistic expression of hip hop as both an artistic force and a global cultural phenomenon.

Many thanks to CHAC Member Artist Aqua One for bringing this exhibit to CHAC Gallery.

"Hip hop was born in the South Bronx in 1973, where DJ Kool Herc revolutionized music by extending the 'breaks' of funk and soul records using two turntables," said curator Aqua One. "From those beats came MCs sharing messages of knowledge and empowerment, B-boys and B-girls transforming dance, and graffiti artists turning city walls into canvases."
