Artist of the month: I've been thinking a lot about the cosmology that Art is to me, so. . .. Howard Fussiner. Look around for the parade images if you can find them. http://ctartscene.blogspot.com/2006/10/east-neighborhood-howard-fussiner.html.

Time has come to honor Howard as the great late painter from Deer Isle---my friend to the end. I will miss him. But we are all going the way of all flesh. I hope to do him an honor sooner than later. In short, Howard Fussiner as this bio does not state has very recently passed on. omunhvilag

While in NY recently, I had the chance to see many iconic paintings by the artist of the month, Albert Bierstadt. Because of his landscape paintings of the American West, a 14er (14,000'+ high mountain) in Colorado is named after him. http://www.albertbierstadt.org/
