This Week at DAC: It's a full one - something for most everyone! 😇🎉🥳

Friday, join us for Seth Gallant & Rough Sawn at DAC at 7 PM. On Saturday we have a Family Fun Day: Melodies & Munchkins - Create, Move, Play! at 10 AM. Later that evening, Into the Woods - Fall Art OPENING with Judy Volkmann from 5-7 PM. And to wrap it up, on Sunday, Philippa Dunne, Baroque Lutenist & Concertina Recital at 3 PM.

Seth Gallant & Rough Sawn at DAC open our fall season this Friday, September 4, at 7 PM.

Seth grew up in a mill town in rural Western Maine, in a family that played music on the front porch at almost any occasion. Those traditions shape the songs he writes today. He's joined by Rough Sawn, a Maine-based acoustic quartet playing bluegrass, Western swing, and old favorites since 2015, with father and son Nick and Ben Whatley and Steve Frens. 🪕

Sharing community Joy 🤩!

At Patch Farm, BrennaMae Thomas Googins and her family have built more than a certified organic farm. They've created a place where stewardship, learning, and community thrive together. This multi-generational farm produces an incredible diversity of vegetables, fruits, herbs, eggs, pork, and dairy while using farming practices that strengthen the land for the future.

Through CSA shares, farmers' markets, their farm stand, and wholesale partnerships, Patch Farm helps bring fresh, organic food to tables across western Maine.

BrennaMae is a farmer whose leadership extends far beyond her own fields. She has been a constant source of encouragement, generosity, and inspiration to fellow women farmers. Her passion, dedication, and spirit remind us that strong communities are built one relationship at a time.
