The gallery has been closed for quite a few years but most of the artists are still creating ther art and showing it in other venues in the area.

Hello everyone. I have been asked to write a post about life after the Arts Arena. It is the second year of our closing and I really miss everyone and wish it could have lasted longer. I know many of the artists in the gallery have gone on to do great things. Perhaps it will be fun to highlight one artist each month.

Kathryn and I went into a gallery called Papillon on 2oth street in Boca. It is a resale shop, they specialize in Mid-century. They also refurbish furniture. It is a wonderful shop and more of the AA artists are showing up on the walls.

We still do the DAL outdoor shows and they are just starting to get traffic. Slow start this year. I was lucky to have a customer from my past life at Winterthur Museum in Delaware last weekend. One of the Dupont clan stopped by and bought a couple of pieces from me...so nice.

Butterfield Gallery is still a shell of a bulilding. They are pouring the floors now but it may be a bit longer before it is open.The hurricane was not kind to us.

The good part (if there is any) is we have time to develop new art.

The Arts Arena Gallery closed at the end of 2015. The property was sold and the rent increased. All the artists from the gallery have moved on to new venues. I am hoping they wlll put info out so you can find your favorite artist.
