Some young people already have it — the personality, the energy, the story, the way they can walk into a room and make people listen. They just need somewhere to put it.
That’s what Decatur Influencers is for.
We’re choosing 15 youth from Decatur for an 8-week experience where they’ll learn how to take their ideas and real-life experiences and turn them into content — streaming, interviewing, filming, editing, storytelling, branding and more.
And we’re not just looking for the “perfect student.”
We want the outspoken ones. The creative ones. The ones always making videos. The athlete with a story nobody knows. The student who has been through something. The one everybody says should have a podcast. Even the quiet one who might have something powerful to say once somebody gives them the space.
