Wise History Museum The official page of the Wise County Historical Society, Wise County Historical Commission, and Wise History Museum. We are now at 119 N.

This is the official page of the Wise County Historical Society, Wise County Historical Commission, and the Wise History Museum. Though we lost the beautiful old museum building and all its contents to a devastating fire in March 2023, the Historical Society and the Historical Commission are still alive with the activity of preserving Wise County’s past. If you are interested in helping us preserve local history please reach out to us! State St., Decatur, Texas 76234.
