ONEIDA MUSEUM (CLOSED) These vary seasonally and with the availability of materials.

Our guided tours include an oral presentation of all exhibits and displays by cultural education staff and generally last 45 - 60 minutes. Tours can be altered to accommodate audience special needs or age groups upon request. Please discuss such requests with the cultural education staff when scheduling your visit. To facilitate questions and to ensure your comfort and enjoyment it is our policy t

o divide groups of 30 or more. For groups not immediately touring the museum, we offer a selection of interactive activities. Our current options will be discussed with you prior to your visit.

Yaw^ko to Andrew John for donating a few of his mother's (Nellie John) baskets. Andrew preserved over 50 of his mother's baskets and we are so pleased to add just a portion of them to our collection, including this one. It is by far the largest basket we have in the collection.

Our collection has officially found its forever home. After a lot of care and hard work these pieces are now in a space where they can be preserved, shared, and appreciated the way they deserve for generations to come! 🥹
