Dayton Society of Artists Executive Director Tamiko Stump didn’t get photos of everyone, but we want to thank all the artists who came out and painted throughout the week. It was pretty incredible to see so many artists working in the space.

The School of the Dayton Art Institute Alumni Retrospective is on view at the Dayton Society of Artists through September 5!

This special exhibition brings together generations of alumni from the School of the Dayton Art Institute, celebrating the artists, friendships, and creative legacy that grew from this important part of Dayton’s art history.

Join us for a one-night pop-up exhibition on Thursday, October 29, from 6–8 PM at 118 N. Jefferson Street, held alongside our Annual Members’ Meeting + Halloween Party. 🎃
ENTRY IS FREE!
Current DSA members may submit up to 3 artworks. All media welcome, and we’ll make every effort to include all submitted work.
Halloween-inspired artwork is welcome, but the theme is completely optional!

A special thank you to three legends who joined us for FUTURE IS NOW X: Dayton Edition — Al Díaz, CERN, and Mike Giant.
Having these three artists together in Dayton was something truly special. They brought decades of art, history, stories, and creative energy with them, sharing their work and experiences with our community throughout an unforgettable week.
Thank you, Al, CERN, and Mike, for coming to Dayton, spending time with our artists and community, and helping make FUTURE IS NOW X what it was.
And a huge thank you to Scotty D for being there to document it all. 📸
