The DSA- Dayton Society of Artists is one of the oldest arts organization in Dayton, OH. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. In addition the public is invited to participate in DSA's workshops, arts lectures, arts events and art field trips. The DSA supports artists through its Opportunities Resource webpage, artist workshops and an engaging full exhibition calendar. The deadline for the Dayton Society of Artists Annual Members’ Meeting Pop-Up Exhibition is October 22!

We are excited to announce our new, completely free Grant Writing Workshop Series for Working Artists. The fall series is designed as a complete learning experience into the world of grant writing:

Researching & Finding a Grant | October 21
Choosing the Right Grant | October 28
Inside the Application | November 4
Tell Your Story | November 11
Build a Strong Budget | November 18

Join us at the Greater West Dayton Incubator! Bring a laptop or tablet so you can put what you learn into practice. Your registration reserves your place in all five sessions; individual workshop registration will not be offered.

The series is free, but advance registration is required. Email [email protected] to register for all five workshops.

Join us Saturday, October 17, for a free artist talk with photographer Dan Cleary, presented as part of the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial: The Long View.

In Standing in Two Times: The Long View Through “Then and Now” Photography, Cleary will explore his Wright Brothers and Indianapolis 500 photography series, pairing historic images with contemporary photographs taken at the same locations.

Discover how photography connects past and present and hear about the research and creative process behind his work.

🎨 CALL FOR ART: LITHO-LINO-MONO-MORE 2027

The Dayton Society of Artists is accepting submissions for LITHO-LINO-MONO-MORE 2027, a juried exhibition celebrating printmaking in all its forms!

Traditional and nontraditional printmaking techniques are welcome. Artists ages 18 and older are invited to submit their work.

Juror: Kim Vito
Awards: $500 in prizes
Submission Deadline: January 18, 2027
Exhibition Dates: February 12 – March 5, 2027

Artists may submit up to three works.

We're looking for original artwork, handmade gifts, and unique creations for holiday shoppers.

✨ Free to participate!
✨ Open to DSA members
✨ Round tables provided
✨ Artists keep 100% of their sales!

Vendors are responsible for their own displays and sales.
