Davenport Fire Museum

Davenport Fire Museum Davenport Fire Station, Hose Company No. 4, opened in 1931 and operated until 1964 at 2301 E 11th St. These pioneers paved the way to today.

The International Fire Museum was founded in 1986 in Davenport, IA. It was founded by a group of firefighters who saw pontential in the old Hose Co. 4 station located in the East Village. These firefighters formed the Davenport Fire Antique & Restoration Society to help promote membership into a great cause. The museum over the years has seen its better days, but with your help, we are going to re

store it to its glory days of the 30's, 40's, 50's, and even a little bit of the 60's! With hard work, and a little bit of help from the community, the Society's vision will become a reality. We are really striving to to preserve the history of the fire service for the generations to come to enjoy. Thank you for visiting the page!
