Still going full speed ahead! Now working on the fish. Still not sure how this will end up… but I have a hard, self imposed deadline. It’s keeping me from over thinking everything. I’m going to get as much done as I can in the next two weeks, and pray I have some good art pieces in the end.

The Sea Turtle will hatch on Monday or Tuesday. In the meantime, next in this series is Sand Island lighthouse

Major update. The Jellyfish is completed and ready to hang! And, the Sea Turtle is in the kiln! And, I am in love with this new Jellyfish. Especially, the smaller Jellyfish to the right. I tried some new things, and I’m happy with the results. 😅 Now, hoping the turtle blends well in the kiln…

The new Jellyfish is going in the kiln! The semi-translucent head will slump down onto the body during the fusing ( I hope!). I’m really nervous about that!! 🫣😑 And, given what happened last time, this will be a very slow fuse and cool down. See you in a couple days!

Meantime back on the new Jellyfish…this is going in a whole new direction! Same, but different feel. I’m excited again. 😅
