Beaver County Industrial Museum

Beaver County Industrial Museum We are a museum dedicated to the education and preservation of Beaver County's industrial heritage.

A 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit, the Beaver County Industrial Museum is home to thousands of photographs, slides, and artifacts from the many companies and industries that have shaped Beaver County and its people.

While the museum most prominently features the local glass and steel industries, you would be challenged to name a Beaver County industry that cannot be found within our massive colle

ctions. Our season begins the first weekend in May (Beaver County History Weekend). The museum is open each Sunday May through August, as well as by appointment throughout the year.

THAT’S A WRAP!

Thank you to everyone who celebrated America’s 250th anniversary with the Beaver County Industrial Museum at our “Forging a Nation” event on Saturday!

Enjoy these photos from the event. We had gorgeous weather and such a nice turnout!

We are grateful for everyone’s time and interest. To those of you who made a monetary donation and/or purchased books: thank you for your additional support!

Thanks again to our event sponsor, The DAY Group | Baird Private Wealth Management, and to those who donated our unique door prizes as well!

(Door prize winners were drawn at the end of the event and announced Monday. Check your email for a message to see if you won!)

And the event would not have been a success without the time and effort of all of the volunteers who helped with planning and getting the word out, set-up and clean-up, giving tours, taking pictures, selling books, managing registration, and providing refreshments. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Missed the event? Your last chance to see the museum this season is this Sunday, September 6th from 1:00pm until 4:30pm. Stop by!

Couldn’t have asked for a better day for an event! ☀️ 🎉 Come on out and see us until 2pm today! (8/29)

The Co-operative Flint Glass Company was a major American glassware manufacturer based in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Operating from 1879 until 1937, the factory produced pressed and blown tableware, lamps, novelties, and soda fountain ware before closing due to the Great Depression.

It was located at 15th street and 1st ave.
