🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡🧡💜🧡💜Something you may not know about the Montour County Historical Society

For 87 years, the Montour County Historical Society has worked to preserve the people, places, objects, photographs, documents, and stories that tell the history of our community.

What many people may not realize is that we are an all-volunteer, independent nonprofit organization, supported by our community—not by regular local government funding.

That means community support truly matters.

Every membership helps.
Every museum admission helps.
Every donation helps.
Every volunteer hour helps.

Together, they allow us to care for our historic properties, preserve our collections, undertake important restoration projects, and make Montour County’s history protected for the next generation.

87 years. All volunteer. Independent. Community supported.

If you believe Montour County’s history is worth preserving, we hope you’ll be part of its future. 💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡🧡💜
