In the simplest of terms, Dave and Pauli's Art Emporium is really an artist's studio and creative space with a fantastic art gallery attached to it. Imagined as half gallery and half creative space, the 2,800 square foot building in historic downtown Dalton will be a showcase for lo

cal talent and a gateway to artists from other communities. The city of Dalton and surrounding areas are blessed with an abundance of talented painters, photographers and other artists. Our goal is to create interesting, beautiful and intelligent art and provide a venue for other local artists to share their perspective. The gallery hosts periodic showings and other events.

What puts the POPS in Pops in Burr Park? The term "Pops" comes from the tradition of orchestras performing popular music, from patriotic favorites and Broadway hits to movie themes, jazz standards, and contemporary classics. For generations, Pops concerts have brought communities together through familiar and beloved music performed by live orchestras in welcoming outdoor settings.

This tradition continues as the Creative Arts Guild proudly presents the 6th annual Pops in Burr Park on July 3! This FREE community event features the 39-member Creative Arts Guild Chamber Orchestra, guest vocalists, a community children's choir, and dancers from Ballet Dalton. We'll also have burgers & hot dogs, beverages, Dairy Queen Blizzards, concessions, and glow items available for purchase with proceeds supporting the Creative Arts Guild Chamber Orchestra and future community arts programming.

As the evening reaches its grand finale, audiences will experience a new dimension of Pops in Burr Park as powerful orchestral music is paired with a dazzling laser show designed to paint the night sky with light, movement, and patriotic spirit. Together, the music and visual presentation will create a memorable tribute to our community, our country, and 250 years of American history.
