One of my favorite parts of exhibiting my work is meeting the people who stop, ask questions, share stories, and connect with the artwork in their own unique way.

Every conversation reminds me that art isn't just about what hangs on the wall—it's about the relationships, memories, and moments that happen because of it.

Join me at LAST Art Gallery for Acoustic Evenings at the Gallery, featuring live music by Joni Wynn!

If you haven’t been to LAST Art Gallery yet, it’s a local artist cooperative gallery in the heart of Historic Downtown McKinney, showcasing original work from area artists and creating a space where the community can experience, support, and purchase local art. ❤️

And I’ll be there! I’ll be working on a new piece of art live, so come hang out, watch the creative process unfold, enjoy the music, grab some appetizers, and explore everything the gallery has to offer.

And yes… LOTS of artwork will be available for sale! 🖼️ If something speaks to you, you can take a little piece of local creativity home.

One of our amazing community artists, Leticia Herrera , was on TV—and obviously we were watching because LETICIA WAS ON TV! 👏✨

But then I spotted something in the background…

Not that anyone was looking at the background while Leticia was busy being fabulous on television, but I noticed. I definitely noticed. 😂

🍂 It may not FEEL like fall outside…but fall is right around the corner, isn’t it?! 😂🎃

🎨✨ WORK IN PROGRESS — IT’S COMING TO LIFE!

Remember the downtown piece I shared yesterday when it was just getting started? Here’s the latest progress—and the color is officially taking over! ❤️

The historic Barrows Building, housed in the old bank, is beginning to emerge with layers of rich brick tones, unexpected pops of pink, and that colorful, expressive sky. There’s still plenty left to do—including more architectural details and bringing the street and trolley scene to life—but I love this stage of a painting where you can finally start to see where it’s headed.

I’m continuing to build a collection of McKinney and downtown-inspired pieces for my upcoming December show, and I’m excited to share each one as it evolves.

Still messy. Still unfinished. Still experimenting. Exactly how a work in progress should be. 🎨❤️
