Darlene The Artist New Brow Art and All Things Odd Darlene Schaper, now living in sunny St. Paul, TX.

Was born and raised in Portland, OR and has been an artist and explorer since she was a child. She got her start with a group of artists that are part of Portland's growing art scene started by Chris Haberman and Jason Brown of the Peoples Art of Portland, considered New Brow Artists, Guardino Gallery, and the Splenderporium.. This art movement involves the belief that art should be available to

everybody not just the wealthy. These galleries's owners have created open, affordable, and accessible venues for the average person to collect and enjoy art. This has also given artists that were otherwise excluded from the mainstream galleries a place to show and sell their work. Seeing this development also happen through social media and the virtual gallery has encouraged Darlene to seek and carry out this style of sharing her art and life.
