I am honored to have one of my paintings, "The Heel Stone of Stonehenge" be a part of the Heyde Center for the Arts art show "Arrivals and Departures". If you are in Chippewa Falls, WI between now and August 26, stop by to see it and other amazing art pieces from regional artists.

Stonehenge and its Heel Stone act as a neolithic astronomical marker. For nearly five-thousand years, each summer solstice sunrise has risen near the Heel Stone and each winter solstice sunset drops over the Stonehenge’s Altar Stone while sentinels of Rooks bid farewell to one season and greet the next.

Here is another painting that I just finished for my display at the Chippewa Valley Airport in Eau Claire. If you are in the area in May or June stop by. I will have seven of my original paintings and several of my prints on display. I understand that they have a very good restaurant called Hanger 54. I'll have to check it out when I am putting up my paintings on Friday.

Here are a couple of oil paintings that I finished the last couple of days. These and may other paintings and prints will be on display and for sale at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport during the months of May and June.
