Some highlights from our latest popup kicking off the first week of the JAMBALOO Live Festival.

Major respect to and who accepted the heroic challenge of creating live, in real time, under actual human eyeballs. Making art in front of an audience is no small ask. It takes courage, talent, and just a touch of chaos tolerance. They delivered all three and turned the night into something electric all in support of an amazing cause

We’re incredibly grateful to have hosted these artists and contribute to an evening that was equal parts collaboration, spectacle, and creative magic.

Huge shoutout to and for the stellar staff and support that kept everything running smoothly. And of course for being the soundtrack, the vibe, and basically our anthem of the year.

Art. Community. A little adrenaline. Exactly how it should be.

‘Enter & Turn’ by artist Greg Angus

Encaustic painting dates back to ancient Greece, revived by artists like Jasper Johns, and continued today by Greg Angus. His work layers up to thirty coats of pigmented wax, scraped back to reveal hidden forms. Influenced by Japanese aesthetics, Angus creates images that feel like nature, cosmos, and body all at once.

Our one and only M Ross Gray smashes art and design into a symbiotic relationship. Ross is a unicorn of design and strategy; drawing from automotive design, product design, UX design, service design, interaction design, and environmental design taking a pleasure in deconstructing what we see everyday into basic formulations.

His new working series is taking our perception of the automotive industry into digestible storytelling of how cars are built.

In this series he draws cars with automotive striping tape by hand, suspended on glass. Don’t miss the journey of his work and vast knowledge of his industry.

Hanji is traditional Korean handmade paper crafted from the inner bark of the paper mulberry tree, known for its remarkable strength, durability, and longevity, which allows it to last for centuries. Made using ancient techniques with the addition of a natural hibiscus mucilage, hanji has been used historically for everything from clothing and armor to flooring and windows
